126 Tesla owners have sued the car manufacturer to get a price reduction because they believed themselves wise, both on acceleration and that the model P85D had not the effect of 700 horsepower as the owners thought the car was sold with. Tesla owners demanded a price reduction on 129.700 million, which was equivalent to the price difference between the Model S P85D and Model S 85D. The settlement involves a cash payment of half of what the Tesla owners demanded; 65.000 kroner.
Alternatively, owners may choose between six different solutions, which consists of various upgrades or credit on product purchases. The alternatives to a pure cash payment is well for the 80,000 crowns, or upgrade of the vehicle to the so-called “ludicrous mode” which gives the car faster acceleration, as well as a slightly lower cash amount. Tesla also offers owners a hjulpakke combined with a cash amount of 35.000 million, or 50,000 in well.
